Hello to all! I to do new thread because I do not find where to ask for this inside the forum.
The matter is: Is it possible to charge two batteries of gel (6V 4A) connected in series (12V 4A), with a regular charger? Or another charger's class is necessary? Thanks.

If it were me, I would charge each gel separately using a 12 Volt charger. Be careful not to over charge it or charge it at too fast a rate. I would use a charger designed for gel batteries. I suppose, if you had a 24 Volt charger you could charge the series connected batteries. But that probably is not a good idea since , if the batteries are not matched, one may over charge before the other or they will not charge at uniform rates. rmeyn

For Safety to protect the batteries, the Charge Current should be limited to about 400 mA.
