I'm posting my experiences with attempted increases in gasoline mileage on my sort of late model car to help others from waisting time and money. This is regarding Sions, and probably other Toyota types with Efi. Here goes: Acetone, Xylene, Diesel and others...no increase although work well in other cars (older Hondas, my sons '92 gets 7-8 mpg with 3 oz of Acetone per tankful. O2 Extensions only allowed my Xb to get pre-mods gas mileage with HHO. No extension netted me -5 mpg with HHO. A nice op on another Web site, showed how to make a "Flux coil" with 3 layers of magnet wire wound on a length of 3/8 plastic tubing, inserted between the H-gen and the engine vacuum inlet.
And, hooked from 12vdcx and gnd. I built it, it worked up to a point (I got pre-mod mileage with it, although I haven't figured out how.) All tests we done on the same piece of freeway, and all fuel was purchased from the same Chevron (no Ethanol) station at the same pump. The only mileage increases I've ever found on the Internet for Scion Cb's were using Efies and a 5k ohm resistor in parallel across the IAT sensor.
Modifying the "pressure HHO generator" to a Vacuum HHO generator seems to be an improvement. You do it by modifying the Bubbler into a "gravity trap" by cutting the input tube so it only extends a little way into the "jar" and dumping out the water. It was visually apparent more HHO was being produced.
There it is. Any comments, of course, welcomed. Merry Christmas.
I'll post more as I go.......and.......please post any HHO and gas mileage increases you observe. Gas is priced OK now, BUT, as soon as the new President takes office, oil exploration will again be stopped and we'll again be paying $5.00 a gallon, my opinion.
