I am PARVAIZ from KARACHI. Just joined. Hello to everyone. I want to discuss about a schematic of a Grid Tie Inverter. Can I do that here ? Preferrably, Put it in the New Thread I created for you. "Grid Tie Inverter"

Ok Thank you Gary it is on this site www.neo-aerodynamic.com/GridTieInverter.htmlThis is a very interesting site as some of the schematics there are very unconventional. The author Phi Tran says it will work only with 110V AC that is wired Line -> Neutral. Her we have 220V AC Line -> Neutral. I have a small spare solar panel and I want to experiment with this but just want some advise because it looks more like an AC to DC converter with the capacitor in the DC side. What do you or any body here think about this.

I Agree, it appears to be an AC to DC Converter. And I wouldn't consider it as a proper "GRID TIE".
