Hello friends. I live in center México, and I want know if waves from distant vlf transmitters, Canada, U.S.A. etc. go far in all world? I have vlf receiver gold gun from www.accuratelocators.com in U.S.A. but here I not receive good transmitters, for this reason I want elevate the frequency or build new receiver for work may be about in 100 khz. They use Descrimination to allow the detector to find just gold, But that also Reduces Sensitivity. 2) Changing the Frequency to 100 khz will probably have NO Effect. 3) Sensitivity in Air is always better than sensitivity in ground. Because of varying mineral content, Some ground is really BAD to detect anything. 4) If just changing the frequency would fix this, the manufacturers would be doing that.
