when i did PCB etching last time (which was a long time ago) , i have used hydrogen peroxide method instead of traditional ferrum chloride. this way, tracks are less exposed to corrosion after etching.

I use a mix of around two parts of hydrogen peroxide with one part muriatic acid. Worked for me for years.

i prefer citric acid, its more safe and available anywhere.. and a half tsp of salt (Nacl) as catalyst
