I'm collecting parts for a metal detector project. The coil will consist of about a hundred turns, 5 inches in dia with a Faraday shield around it. I haven't been able to figure out how to accomplish that. Pulling a hundred turns of wire through a round piece of tubing would be out of the question. Has anyone been through this? Also has any one had experience with the detector at the following url? home.skif.net/~yukol/MetalE.htmThanks, Ron.

Just Scramble Wind 100 turns, 5 inches in diameter, than Wrap it with Aluminum Foil to create the shield. ** Make Sure you leave a Small gap in the foil, Where your wires come off the coil.
