Hi Guys, does anyone know if you can get the PCBs for Gary's projects. Perhaps Jean still has some?. While writing this I suddenly realised its twelve months since Gary passed away. My wife and I had great pleasure in meeting Gary and Jean when they came to New Zealand A year or so before his death. They came to our house for a meal and a chat and formed great memories of them both. A truly great and sincere couple.

Hi maaca,
Glad you got to meet Gary and Jean. Most of Gary`s projects have the artwork enclosed for you to build your own. What projects are you looking to build?

Thank you for your reply. I previously purchased the wind generator dump load project. It works extremely well and I now need another. I probably have the parts but I'm stuck on the PCB. I sent a copy of the art work to a Chinese company but they kept asking in strange English for the Gerber file. I have no idea what that is so I gave up. I do not have the skills required to even start to make a PCB from the artwork supplied. Thanks.

Welcome back!
Gerber files are the standard for making more of a mass produced PCB. The photo Gary posted is more geared towards the home scale production. Not to hard but I had to do it for years to get good at it. lol
You could print the picture to the scale on it and lay it over perf board. Push the components through the paper and connect the dot`s. Would have to mirror the image is all to do it. Just an idea.
Did you get the message I sent you? It may help.
Jerry
