I'm read about his passing so time ago, and every time i come to this site i can't believe it! I even remember once walking around a mall when he called me with thoughts of a project i was doing! Just this past summer the wife and I was supposed to drive right by him, and i was hoping to stop in and say Hi in person other then in random calls and emails, and see what he was giving up that i may of wanted (think i responded to one of his post about that here), but as always plans changed and that one trip never happened.
Now if only someone can get moderator status on this site!

Hi 91xr7. We all miss having Gary around. Trust me he is remembered a lot! Everyone who followed this site gained knowledge that they will carry around and hopefully pass on to others. As long as Gary`s knowledge is shared he will live on and on.
Far as the moderator,.. There are a few around that would love to clean this site of the crap (drug this / software that) spam that clutters this site and takes away the actual reading and learning ability.
Time will tell,.. The future is not promised.

Yep, Gary will be missed, and thou i never met him, i'm glad i knew him!
Well going by the member list, Gary was the sole person that could do anything! Wonder if Jean would know any log in information for this website? Even thou the time is ticking for it in itself...

Jean has been through a lot and i`m sure is doing the best of her ability to honer Gary's wishes. This site is basically hers now. Give her time,... She inherited this site which is like Gary`s ongoing diary.
A lot to take in i`m sure.

Sorry if that came out the wrong way, What i was more hinting of if she had time, is giving a 3rd party some powers to control this Spam crap that's going on at times! Least it'll be one less thing she has to even think about.

Does anyone have the documentation for the Pulse 2 metal detector (schematic, Parts layout, setup instructions, etc.) they could scan and email me? I am building one and seem to have lost them. Thanks, Bill

Pulse 1 and 2 were sold by Gary as a kit. Without having Gary here to authenticate if you bought a kit from him you are out of luck !

Hello, I am Roberto from Italy, i also give a look into this loveable site. I love the desulfator circuit and the spirit of this site... I never write an email to Gary, because I am going to do it tomorrow, and years are gone... Then some times ago, I read that He want to close the site, for health condition... But I thinked... Nooo He was only tired... Then I saw that the site is still online... Strange... He stays good... I read a post on some forum, Ok He stay good... Today I want to say the truth about his condition... But I think that ignorance is better... Jean thank you, thank you, infinity thank you for maintain this. Gary your circuits are made with love, you are a real HackMan. Thank you Gary, we never forget... See you, with love Roberto. ❤ I am trying to download the most from this site, Jean can I share his circuit?
Ps I am sorry for my Horrible English, but is a lot of time that i do not repeat some rules...

Hi Roberto.
Welcome and thank you for your kind words about Gary. Gary`s projects can be shared but not sold for profit!
Enjoy

Dear Gary, I hope you are able to read this, I came looking to thank you so much for your Insite into the remarkable MC1466L PSU IC.
I built a couple of 0-60V 0-2A Lab PSU's 20years ago, of which I was very proud as they had excellent specs and my work bench supply's, but!, as I have found out, you only have to sneeze! and Zilch, 'there goes another chip', when I found your schematic and confidence you had in it, I was truly elated, I thought Yes! If I could build a discreet version then Great!, when/If it gets blown then I could repair it no problem. And so I have just finished your circuit on 'Veroboard' my preferred medium, don't have the time for making my own PCB's. And great news it works a charm!. I'm so happy now I have a fully repairable MC1466L! all thanks to you Gary. So lots of love and all the very best. (Huge thank's for your work and sharing it).
P.S I got diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in 2017, I was able to have the Opp to remove it, which I did, and I just Hope it's ok.
Best Regards, Phil Hirst
