Due to Numerous Emails, Requesting that I keep my website up, (at least for Informational purposes) I will renew it for One More Year. But going Past this new renewal date, I don't know if I will renew it further than that.
My website provider is Telus.net and they offered me a Free Evaluation of it. They found almost No Broken Links, but rated it at 45 out of 100. Only 45 because I write this site one line at a time, writing the HTML Code in Notepad. So it is Not very Compatible with Mobile Phones and Tablets.
I also have a "Free Website Builder" available to me from Telus.net that would properly Update my site to current standards, But it would be a lot of work and looking at the Basics Layouts that are available, I am not impressed, it takes away my personal touch.
I also have a Problem understanding the overall procedure in doing this with their editor. Sort of "Between a Rock and a Hard Place".

Glad to hear that! But personally i do not recommend this "update" to "modern" standarts. that's nothing more than overbundled java scripts + background http requests. all that useless dynamic sh*t , which weights more than actual page with all content and images. Any modern browser, including mobile phones, is fully compatible with plain html sites.
Personally i view this site from 5 different devices, with three different browsers, including two on Android OS. And i have no problems with displaying it.

It seems all this type of thing has moved to Facebook. I first got on the internet back in 1992. It was definitely a different beast then. You have a Facebook page in regards to Electronics?
If not, ever think about making one?

Hi Gary Just wanted to express gratitude for your continued work with your forum and this site. I hardly ever post, but often browse and it would be unfortunate if you felt the need to stop!, Kind regards from Midlands, Uk. Paul

Gary
I'm just happy for all the time you have given us. Frankly i don't know how you made time for yourself with the questions and email you have had to deal with over the years. Even on your vacations you took all of us along with your pictures while still finding time to respond to a post here and there. You feal like family to me as i have followed you and your site over the years and i would like to say Thank You for everything you have sacrificed to help others like me keep interest in electronics alive.
Jerry

Wonderful website! This was the place that helped build my confidence when I got back into electronics. If I built a project or followed along closely, my efforts always worked! I've started to design my own
circuits, and trouble-shoot, and debug. All thanks to Gary!

Some cancer is treatable and some not so. I know what you mean about not sure you want to persue. I have seen what cancer can do. I have lost many a friend to cancer and I don't wish that on anyone! Still I hope that it is a manageable form in your case. Cancer SUCKS !
