Due to Considerable Lack of Interest in people building Projects, I plan to Shut down the Project Portion or maybe the whole Chemelec.com at Renewal Date next year. Probably also this discussion Forum.
My Health & Age are getting to me.
My Personal Interests include: Analogue Electronics, Woodworking, Metalworking, Inorganic Chemistry, Swimming, Camping, Kayaking and Vegetable Gardening.
Do not do that! I can take care of hosting reneval & keeping this site up, if you don't want to. We should not let this rare kind of GOOD old school electronics sites completely disappear from "modern" 'net!
Hi, I have just found this site and want to get into electronics, I found this site as I would like to do my own Pulse Induction Metal detector, I have no electronics experience and this site is one of the best I have seen, Its more colourful than a rainbow, more information than Google and its free :-), it's the only one that shows you how to solder Please stay up
Ok hi Im new to this site..glad to be here...hope it stays up. Im building a pretty ambitious electronics project, under construction now for seven years. And have alot of questions. Where do I start to ask...this page?
Good, for now. Take lamazoid offer before shutting down. I occasionally been coming to your site over past few years and finally came here to the forums to see whats up. And I do tell others and give them links to your site. I agree with another, its lack of time to do much
I am very sorry to have read that you may be shutting this site down. I just found it, and while I`ve had little time to spend here I was hoping to get involved in it more. Its too bad more kids don't get involved in electronics as a hobby. I guess video games has taken over creativity. Bless you for your time sir, I know it takes a lot of time to run a site and especially a message board. best of luck to you.
I've been tripping all over the web, and I just came back here after nearly a year! Constantly referring back to Gary's website, getting ideas. The fencer totally reignited my interest in linear/old school electronics. Thanks!
