If you meant these types who are firering big but single pulses, I made forensic searches at one who was sealed with epoxy by the manufacturer here in germany. It fired about 80 (eighty) A every 30 seconds into the accu, using its own energy which was astonishing for me. I checked several car-accus, Pb-gel and crapped a lot of time, I even checked the acid-density, mixed it new, refilled and so on. Sometimes I thought it could have been worked well, but it did not.- If you meant the types which uses frequencies and are as big as a box of cigarettes, I read about that in forums and traced all positive comments here in the german area back to the austrian person who is earning a golden ass with it. They are also useless and some of them are stinking in the 80m- ham-band. If could not check the positive article, told to be from the US-army, about that.
I buiult and use this one on my boat batteries. Works pretty good. How ell they work depends very much on the condition of your batteries when you start. If your batteries are badly sulphated it might take quite a while to clean off the sulphate or perhaps never. Go here and see what they have to say. www.shaka.co/~kalepa/desulf.htm
