Vinegar (Acetic Acid) is JUST AS CORROSIVE to Aluminum. And when bubbling the Hydrogen through it, it will Produce MORE Acetic Acid Fumes than either the KOH or NaOH. EDIT: Vinegar doesn't dissolve it like "KOH or NaOH" does, But it will slowly create Pit holes in it. I Definately wouldn't use that one.But you Possibly Could Substitute an Aspirin in the water, instead of the Vinegar. However, If you have a reasonably good bubbler and Change the water once every Month, the KOH/NaOH Should never cause any problems for your motor.

Tests have now have shown, (prepared 1/2 gallon of water with coil of 1/4 in plastic tubing in the water with one end of the tubing plugged into the bubbler output and the other open to outside world) Let H-generator run through bubble all day. Found a quanity of liquid condensed inside tubing. Tested with litmus paper. The litmus paper turned blue, not real vivid but difinately blue, And that was with 4 ground up aspirin tablets in the bubbler. So, I'm going to work on a condensing coil to fit into the bubble and find a small stainless screen too affix to the bottom of the coil, and test some more. Any comments are invited. Thanks.

What is a "Condensing Coil" Supposed to do for your Bubbler? An Acquarium bubble bar works well to create smaller bubbles, which than helps to better wash impurities out of the gas bubbles. And why not add a bit of Phenolphthalein to to your Bubbler? I would give a Continuous color change to show the PH of your water. Gary

The idea is that a vapor consisting of water and KOH comes out of the H-gen along with the "good stuff". putting a condensing coil in the bubbler full of cold water will convert the vapor into a liquid preventing it from leaving the bubbler.........but! Thats assuming the water in the bubbler stays cold! The guy that thought this up out his behind the grill. Mine's going where the engine heat will prevent the coil from doing anything. But that's ok for now. After today, I'm going to go with it as is to see if it works in my car, to improve gas milage. Ron.

The Bubbler itself, Acts as a Condensor. And if its a Reasonable size Bubbler, it should never get so hot as to pass any chemicals.
Also as I said, Use an Acquarium Bubble bar for Much better Performance..
