Hi Garry Just built your revised tens circuit 2 Its not working, led on all the time, only difference is i used 470k plus 2x15k inseries for frequency instead of 500k, output used 4.7k with 2x 150ohm series instead of 5k. Qi and transforner are disconnected. Simple circuit , been through pcb with continuity checks, voltages without ics installed seem about right, little current been drawn, when adjusting frequency or duty width, slight flicker of led but not blinking. When making pcb forgot to mirror image, but thats not the problem as i mounted components on copperside. Can you or anyone shed any light on the problem. Ive changed ics but they are from the same batch ne555p, so ive ordered another load anyway. I must get round to makeing a ne555 checker, as it would save alot of time in the long run. Anyway nice site you have here Garry All the best Dave Attachments:

Hi Garry Since posting yesturday I made a simple tester for the ne555 chips and they all test ok, so now its back to the drawing board. Did anyone actually build tens circuit 2 to prove it worked ? Regards Attachments:

I Built it and Tested It. The Picture Overlay Proves it WORKS. The Neon Bulb Shows it is Producing the High Voltage Out. Attachments:

Hi Garry Jumped the gun on this one, was exspecting the led to be flashing where as it doesnt, soon as i put the scope on it realized infact it had been working all the time, so replaced the s/h faulty irf640 that i had disconnected and used a 9v transformer that was taken from a old phone charger and away it went giving me a nice bite between my fingers. In my head expected it to work similar to the fencer hense confusion . Anyway as you say it does work but wether it will help my pains is another story. Regards

The LED should Also be "Flashing" or at least "Lit up".
Are you sure it is Correctly installed and a Good LED?
Have Fun........Gary

Hi Garry It lights up but doesnt flash, when output connected to scope can alter the frequency , lenth of pulses, and amplitude, but as i said apart from a very slight flicker whilst adjusting these controls doesnt really do alot. Bought some proper pads for my skin to try and help the pain in my hands, doesnt do anything, so maybe was expspecting to much from it. Was thinking about moding that fencer i built on here, that should do something ;D Regards

If Not you have something Wrong! The LED is more of a Indicator that there is a Signal to the Mosfet, Not a Flashing Light. And it should be Well Lit Up.
